We are hiring two positions for our small business. At Fine Consign we are focused on quality products and friendly service. It's a shop that people often call their 'Happy Place' and we want it to be yours too.
We are looking for a person who is proactive, eager to learn and work as a team. Our shop can be fast paced and at times a little hectic so communication and energy are a necessity.
Fine Consign has been serving our community for 12 years and I am looking for someone who will want to help keep us going for another 12!
The hours are Tuesday-Friday 10:45-5 and Saturday 9:45-5 with the occasional extra hour or so for floor moves and refreshes to the showroom. These hours and the ability to climb a ladder as well as lift 50+ lb independently and 100 lb with assistance, are a must and nonnegotiable.
Duties:
- Engage with customers and consignment clients to help them find and purchase items they need.
- Explain both sales and consignment process to customers
- Conduct sales transactions, including cash handling and processing payments
- Maintain a clean and organized sales floor, restroom and stocking room
- Manage inventory including restocking and redecorating the floor
- Collaborate with team members to achieve sales goals and provide excellent customer service
Skills:
- Strong communication skills, both verbal and written
- Ability to speak Spanish is a plus
- Excellent time management skills to prioritize tasks effectively
- Basic math skills for cash handling and retail calculations
- Technical sales knowledge to assist customers with electronic products
- Ability to work in a fast-paced environment and adapt to changing priorities
- Strong interpersonal skills to build rapport with customers and colleagues

Salary: $15.00 - $16.00 per hour with regular performance based raises
