Warehouse Manager (Part-Time)

Blackwoods Emergency Resources is a leading provider of medical rescue services during federal active wildfires. We are seeking a highly organized and experienced Warehouse Manager to oversee the efficient and effective management of our critical medical and logistical supplies on a part-time basis.

Responsibilities:

Warehouse Management:

o Supervise and direct warehouse staff in all aspects of warehouse operations, including receiving, storing, and shipping medical equipment, supplies, and logistical gear.

o Implement and maintain robust inventory control systems, ensuring accurate tracking of all medical supplies (including medications with expiration dates), logistical equipment, and personal protective equipment (PPE).

o Conduct regular inventory audits to maintain optimal stock levels and identify potential shortages.

o Oversee the maintenance and repair of all warehouse equipment, including specialized medical equipment and logistical vehicles. Ensure all medical equipment is checked for expiration dates. Schedule and track regular vehicle inspections and maintenance, including noting any damages or

required repairs.

o Coordinate equipment maintenance and repairs, including scheduling drop-offs and pick-ups for repairs.

o Assist with the delivery of critical gear, equipment, or replacement vehicles to field teams as needed.

o Assist with the inspection of incoming and outgoing medical and rescue supplies and equipment.

o Perform general maintenance tasks as needed, such as painting, staining, and minor repairs.

Logistical Support:

o Assist with the preparation and packing of medical kits and logistical supplies for deployment to wildfire sites.

o Coordinate the timely delivery of supplies to field teams as needed.

o Maintain accurate records of all equipment and supplies deployed to wildfire sites.

Administrative Duties:

o Perform basic office tasks, such as filing, photocopying, and data entry.

o Assist with the preparation of reports and other documentation as required.

Qualifications:

Strong understanding of inventory management principles and best practices.

Excellent organizational, communication, and problem-solving skills.

Strong attention to detail and accuracy.

Basic proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite.

Valid driver's license with a clean driving record.

Ability to lift and move items up to 30 pounds.

Basic handyperson skills, including painting and staining, a plus.

Schedule:

Part-time position with an average of 10-20 hours per week.

Increased workload and potential for longer hours during the wildfire season (April - November)
