An Inside Sales Representative will be responsible for managing new opportunities from the initial request from the customer through final invoicing.

Position Details:

Hours: Part to Full Time Hourly Rate

Location: Eugene, Oregon

Travel Requirements: None

Pay Rate: $25-$30/hr, depending on experience

Law Enforcement Sensitivity Non-Disclosure Required

Benefits:

Full time position (32-40 hours per week)

Eligibility for Company Performance & Tenure Bonus

7 Paid Holidays and 40 Hours PTO Upon Completion of 60-day probation period

Eligible for PTO Increases Starting After 1 Year

Job Summary:

The Inside Sales Representative will play a crucial role in guiding our customers through the process of identifying their needs and providing tailored product and solution options. Success in this role requires an understanding of moderately complex technical details, the ability to analyze customer requirements, and the capability to recommend appropriate products and solutions. Effective communication and the development of strong customer relationships are essential.

Responsibilities include managing customer interactions and providing comprehensive sales support from the initial inquiry through post-shipment after-sales service. This may include assistance in related areas such as Inventory, Procurement, Shipping & Receiving, BOM Validation and similar. As part of the dynamic Obsidian Integration team, members may be asked to contribute to various roles and tasks that support our continued growth. Responsibilities:

Direct interaction via phone and email to end users in a professional manner.

Answer inbound phone calls and email requests.

Use of Company Software Systems (Quickbooks Manufacturing, Asana)

Gathering customer requirements and recommending appropriate products.

Writing standard & custom quotes.

Assisting with customer purchase order placement, credit card processing and order receipt tasks.

Review and back end processing of orders, generation of manufacture and work orders for production.

Assistance with procurement and inventory management to ensure smooth production workflow.

Assisting with prioritization and tracking of all active production orders.

Processing orders and assisting with software inventory assembly builds.

BOM entry, adjustment and overall management within manufacturing software coordinated with production staff.

Facilitating customer requests for information such as sales, marketing, technical or support materials.

Development of processes and procedures for inside sales and operations

Other related duties as needed.

Qualifications:

2+ Years combined experience in inside sales or related roles (customer service/support, project management, etc.)

Ability to quickly learn new technical terms/jargon.

Excellent problem solving and critical thinking skills, desire to achieve success.

Ability to multi-task and work in a dynamic environment.

Maintain a “can-do” attitude and commit to finding solutions and meeting goals while not sacrificing quality.

Commitment to be part of a small business team and willingness to contribute in areas which may be outside your direct responsibility.

Self-starter requiring minimal direction.

Ability to exercise good judgement and self-diagnose complex situations to identify resolution.

Use of MS-Office programs to perform job duties (email, word, excel)

Excellent verbal and written communication skills.

Exemplary customer service skills and relationship management

Preferred Qualifications:

Experience with computers, IP security, IP cameras, networking, and cellular data systems.

Familiarity with tools and concepts such as ICMP pings, TCP/IP networking, NAT, and port forwarding.

Familiarity with video surveillance products and the law enforcement industry.

Electro-mechanical product sales or work in organizations which designed and manufacture these systems.

Small business database driven accounting, inventory and management software such as Quickbooks Manufacturing

BOM/Assembly creation, documentation and related software systems management for Electro-Mechanical.

Inventory related roles and procurement
