Join a lighting company in Springfield that has combined sales and maintenance experience in the lighting industry for over 75 years. The Sales Representative will work with existing commercial lighting customers while identifying and cultivating new customers who will benefit from the companys services, products, and knowledge of lighting systems.
Ideal candidates have the following skills and experience:
At least 1 year of outside sales experience in the commercial lighting industry, with an understanding of both traditional and new lighting technologies
Experience with energy-savings, lighting audits, ballasts, and pole lights
A self-starter, able to start working without any additional training
Ability to work with existing customers and identify new customers
Excellent customer service skills
Excellent interpersonal communication skills
History of being punctual, having good work attendance, and mutual team respect
Ability to work quickly and efficiently with a great attitude
Strong value of integrity and trust
Physical Requirements and Work Environment:
Ability to work in an environment subject to fluctuations in heat, humidity, fumes, odors, dust, and noise
Ability to follow all safety rules associated with the job
This full-time position will be located in Springfield with a wage that depends on experience level. Pre-employment drug screen and background check is required.
