Personnel Source is looking for a Temporary Network Technician to assist our Eugene client.
This position is full-time, Monday-Friday 8am-5pm. Duration: 90days
Our client is looking for someone with a proven work record of technical growth, superb customer service, meticulous documentation, and excellent problem solving skills. You will have the chance to work in hundreds of different networks of varying sizes and complexities, learn from some of the brightest minds, and be exposed to cutting edge technologies in a fast-paced team environment.
Duties include, but are not limited to:
- Quickly be able to diagnose, isolate, and resolve hardware and software issues over the phone and onsite
- Assist project managers with server, workstation, and network configurations, installations, and ongoing maintenance mainly in Microsoft Windows based environments
- Multi-task well and work on multiple projects simultaneously
- Accurately and thoroughly document work performed without missing details
Requirements:
- 2+ years experience
- Perform well under pressure and in an occasionally stressful customer environment
- Be available for some evening server work and weekend network installs
- Stay on task and work without supervision, moving from project to project seamlessly
- Must have drivers license and own transportation
- Must be able to pass a background check and drug screen
This position will be in the office as well as at customer work sites
Mileage reimbursement given for travel to work sites
