Lanz Cabinet is currently hiring for Cabinet Installers / Finish Carpenters. Company vehicle and tools provided.
Responsible for installing cabinets in single family and multi-family homes plus some finish work with install of solid surface tops. Punch work for the homes or job sites which includes but is not limited to: adjusting doors & drawers; installing scribe, toe skin & base shoe, hood housings, replacing doors, drawers & finished ends, delivering parts to jobsites, assisting in the off-load of cabinets and addressing miscellaneous tasks.
Necessary Skills:
Must be able to read a tape measure
Basic Math skills
Properly use analytical and observation skills
Organize, manage and multi-task work
Read and interpret blueprints
Excellent communication skills
Ability to work well with minimal supervision
Working Conditions:
Time spend driving to jobsites. May be required to wear company apparel, hard hats, safety vests, safety glasses. Field conditions vary from job to job. Regular noise from saws and other machines. This is a full-time position with some overtime required. Workdays are Monday thru Friday with some Saturdays required. May be required to work with sub-contracted install crews. Travel and overnight stays are possible.
