Position: Funeral Director—Embalmer

Role Summary:
We are seeking an Oregon licensed Funeral Service Practitioner—Embalmer, or an Apprentice Funeral Service Practitioner – Embalmer to be primarily based out of our Cottage Grove location but should expect to also work at our Eugene facility. The ideal candidate will be a motivated self-starter with strong communication skills and a team-oriented mindset. A passion for serving families with care and professionalism is essential. Additionally, we have a First-Call team to assist with after-hours removals.
Qualifications:
Oregon combination FSP/Embalmer license or the ability to reciprocate a license from another state. Recent
graduates seeking to complete their apprenticeships are
welcome to apply (compensation adjusted based on experience).
Graduated from an accredited mortuary school program.
Valid driver’s license with a clean driving record.
Ability to lift/push/pull 75+ pounds.
Proficiency in computer skills (MS-Office) is required.
Cemetery and/or crematory skills are beneficial, or a willingness to learn.

Work Schedule:
Full-time position, Monday to Friday.
Overtime and weekend availability required.
Experience & License/Certification:
1 year or more of Funeral Directing experience (Preferred).
A valid Oregon Funeral Service Practitioner-Embalmer License is required, or the applicant must be able to obtain
one upon completion of an apprenticeship.
Work Location:
In-person at our Cottage Grove and Eugene locations.
