New Dimension Hardwood Floors, the areas best hardwood floor company, is currently hiring a entry level installer and sand/finish technician for the Eugene, Springfield area. This position is for someone who is looking for a career working on interesting projects that involve all aspects of the hardwood floor industry. We are a diverse company that does residential, athletic and commercial projects. We are willing to train the right person in how this work is done. The right person will have a good attitude be willing to work hard, show up, as well as work in a safe, professional, and timely manner. Clean driving record is a plus.
Travel to some out of area worksites is required. Mostly during the summer.
Necessary Skills:
Must be able to read a tape measure
Basic Math skills
Be willing to learn the correct way to do our work
Organize, manage and multi-task work
Excellent communication skills
Ability to work well with others
Working Conditions:
May be required to wear PPE and or company apparel, hard hats, safety vests, safety glasses on some projects. Field conditions vary from job to job. Regular noise from saws, sanders and other machines.
