The MIG/TIG Welder is responsible for producing high-quality welds in mild steel, aluminum, and stainless steel while adhering to our safety, quality, and production standards. This role requires following directions carefully and completing all necessary paperwork efficiently.
Key Responsibilities:
Complete internal and external paperwork accurately and on time.
Promptly report any issues to the Department Lead or Supervisor.
Communicate effectively with team members and management.
Maintain quality standards and inspect finished parts for defects.
Ensure a clean and organized work area.
Adhere to all policies outlined in the Employee Handbook.
Qualifications:
Ability to read and interpret blueprints.
Detail-oriented with strong multitasking abilities.
Self-motivated and capable of producing quality welds efficiently.
High school diploma or equivalent preferred.
Must complete all required ISO training.
Work Environment:
Primarily indoor work, which may be noisy and dusty.
Safety gear, including safety glasses and leather boots, must be worn at all times.
Physical Requirements:
Frequent lifting of up to 50 lbs.
Ability to stand, sit, bend, and reach throughout the work shift.
Occasional climbing of ladders or stairs.
Compensation:
Pay Rate: $20-$24 per hour, depending on experience
Schedule: Monday-Thursday; 7:30 AM - 4:00 PM, with a swing shift available from 4:00 PM - 2:30 AM
Payment Method: Mailed Check, Paycard, or Direct Deposit
Note: This position requires minimal supervision and the ability to adhere to all safety and quality standards in a fast-paced environment.
