Hi, my name's Leo and I'm looking for one or two people to help me re-roof my house in Eugene, OR.
I'm looking to get started around March 31, 2025, depending on weather.
This is a one time project, not ongoing employment.
I'm a home owner in Eugene OR. My home insurance company said that they would not renew my policy due to the age of my roof. So basically it seems like a good time to get a new roof. I'm currently not working so I don't really want to hire a contractor. I would like to do the job myself. But there are some parts where I will need help. I'm pretty handy with learning things and I'm fairly fit and capable. At this point I don't have any actual roofing experience. But I've started looking at some YouTube videos on the subject.
So there are a couple of ways this could work. Maybe I could find someone with some roofing experience and I could mostly be their helper. Or I could take the role as the lead and I could hire someone to be my helper. I'm not really set either way at this point. Mostly I just need to get the job done and done right.
