The Welding Operator supports safety, quality, and production processes to ensure customer satisfaction. Responsibilities include drilling, deburring, and finishing products.
Key Responsibilities:
-Complete paperwork accurately and on time.
-Report issues to the Department Lead or Supervisor promptly.
-Communicate effectively with team members and management.
-Maintain quality standards and inspect parts for consistency.
-Perform grinding, deburring, drilling, and tapping as required.
-Adhere to the Employee Handbook and maintain regular attendance.
-Keep the work area clean and organized.
Qualifications:
-Ability to read technical prints.
-Detail-oriented with strong multitasking skills.
-Self-motivated with basic math proficiency.
-High school diploma preferred; must complete ISO training.
Supervision: Works with minimal supervision.
Equipment Used: Computer, grinders, measuring tools, drill presses, sanders, and finishing tools.
Reporting: Reports to the 2nd Ops Supervisor.
Dress Code: Wear leather boots (ankle-high).
Professional attire required; no tank tops, offensive graphics, or torn clothing. Safety glasses mandatory; gloves and ear protection as needed.
Work Environment: Primarily indoor, noisy, and dusty; temperature may vary with seasons.
Schedule: Monday-Thursday; 5:30am to 4:00pm (overtime on Fridays as needed)
Payrate: $16.50 or more depending on experience
