Your Contributions to the Team:

As the Distribution Supervisor, your primary role and responsibilities are to manage the operations of the Distribution Department while working alongside the Logistics Manager to attain strategic goals congruent with the Company's strategic plan. This position resolves any maintenance, delivery, or customers service issues and ensures all loads dispatch on time with appropriate paperwork. This position oversees the Distribution Coordinator and Distribution Specialist, while improving route optimization and expansion. Scheduled shift for this role is Monday - Friday, 7:00 AM - 4:00 PM, however, flexibility is required as needed.

What We Are Looking For:

High School Diploma; College degree preferred.

Minimum 3 years of supervisory experience in general shipping or transportation. Direct delivery in the food and beverage industry a plus.

Supportive leadership style with demonstrated experience coaching, mentoring, engaging, and developing staff (20+ employees) to keep morale and retention at high levels.

In depth knowledge of Electronic Logging Devices, Fleet Management Systems, or other transportation software programs.

Intermediate computer skills using Microsoft Suite programs (Outlook, Excel, Word, etc.)

Advanced math, analytical, and problem solving skills.

Demonstrated organizational, time management, and people skills. Strong customer skills (internal and external) are essential.

In depth knowledge of the Federal Motor Carrier Safety Regulations as they relate to "Not for Hire" Carriers.

Demonstrated experience negotiating rates with 3rd party carriers.

Current Class A Commercial Driver's License (CDL) or the ability to obtain one within six months of employment.

Ability to lift 50 pounds on a consistent basis.
