Key Responsibilities
Safe Transportation: Operate company vehicles to transport clients to scheduled appointments, ensuring their safety and comfort throughout the trip.
Client Assistance: Provide assistance to clients with mobility challenges, including helping them enter and exit the vehicle, securing wheelchairs, and ensuring seatbelt use.
Punctuality: Adhere to scheduled pick-up and drop-off times to maintain reliable service and avoid delays for medical appointments.
Vehicle Maintenance: Conduct routine vehicle checks to ensure cleanliness, functionality, and compliance with safety standards.
Communication: Communicate effectively with dispatchers, clients, and healthcare professionals to provide updates or address any concerns.
Adherence to Regulations: Follow all local traffic laws, regulations, and Comfort Transit policies to ensure safe operation and compliance.
Knowledge of the local area and ability to navigate efficiently using GPS systems.
Compliance with Comfort Transit's safety and hygiene protocols, including COVID-19 precautions.
