Description We are seeking a Controller based in Hillsboro, Oregon, United States. This role is crucial to the functioning of our team, as it involves managing the general ledger and ensuring the accuracy of financial statements. The position requires a strong understanding of accounting principles and the ability to work with different software tools. This role is a contract to hire opportunity.Responsibilities: Oversee and manage the general ledger team. Ensure the accuracy of financial statements and reports. Utilize Excel for financial statement preparation and analysis, including the use of pivot tables. Coordinate audits and ensure the timely completion of audit processes. Analyze budget variances and prepare related reports. Maintain an in-depth understanding of accounting systems and utilize them effectively. Provide support to team members and work at a pace that meets the team's needs. Demonstrate strong technical accounting skills. Collaborate effectively with other team members, particularly in the preparation of financial statements. Display a strong ability to meet high expectations and maintain productivity.
