Job DescriptionAbout the team:You will be part of Intel Advanced Design Organization (AD) within Design Enablement (DE) focused on pathfinding and development of advanced memory technology and circuits to enable best-in-class memory collateral/IP and product design across all generations of Intel process technology. AD delivers critical technology and design collaterals to enable future product designs. For all new Intel technology nodes, AD develops the 1st chips and ensure process and design enablement are robust for high-volume product manufacturing. AD develops embedded memory technology, array designs, silicon testing on technologies like eDRAM, MRAM and SRAM.About the role:We're looking for a software engineer to develop software for library development and automation. The candidate will have the opportunity to work with a group of talented software developers and circuit, process, and design rule engineers to develop crucial software tools using state of art software including Machine Learning with cutting-edge process technologies.Responsibilities include (but are not limited to):

Develop analog parameterize cells (PCells/PyCells).

Develop software to automate layout and/or schematic to generate library collaterals.

Develop validation tools/flows.

Development software to do data analysis on library development and validation.

Collaborate with and provide feedback to designers and process engineers.

This is an entry level position and compensation will be given accordingly.#DesignEnablementQualificationsYou must possess the below requirements to be initially considered for this position. Preferred qualifications are in addition to the requirements and are considered a plus factor in identifying top candidates. Experience listed below would be obtained through a combination of your schoolwork and/or classes and/or research and/or relevant previous job and/or internship experiences.Minimum qualifications:Candidate must possess a MS degree with 6+ months of experience or Ph.D. degree with 1+ years of experience in Electrical Engineering, Computer Science, Computer Engineering, or a related discipline.At least 6+ months experience in the following areas:

CAD and VLSI design .

Familiar with at least one of the EDA tools: Cadence (Virtuoso, and its scripting language SKILL), Synopsys (Custom Designer, IC Validator), and Mentor (Calibre).

Programming in Python, Shell Scripting.

Proficient with UNIX/Linux computing platform.

Preferred qualifications:At least 6+ months experience in the following areas:

PCell or PyCell design.

Experience in CAD design flow.

Foundry experience and expertise in developing PDK.

Possess an understanding of technology design rules, circuit design knowledge .
