Position Overview
If you enjoy talking to people, are driven to achieve, have a passion for being the best in a fast paced work environment and one day aspire to run your own business but don't feel ready to jump right in yet, this opportunity may be for you. The position is designed to give "on the job training" while working with a full time mentor in the agent's office to build and cultivate customer relationships.
Depending on your earnings goals you could be working part time or full time as either a receptionist, customer service representative or sales representative.
Responsibilities could include
Answering phones, taking payments, scheduling appointments, developing leads, identifying customer needs, and marketing appropriate products and services. Establish customer relationships and follow up with customers, as needed. Provide prompt, accurate, and friendly customer service. Service can include responding to inquiries regarding insurance availability, eligibility, coverage, policy changes, transfers, claim submissions, and billing clarification. Use a customer-focused, needs-based review process to educate customers about insurance options. Maintain a strong work ethic with a total commitment to success each and every day.
As an Agent Team Member depending on licensing and or part time / full time status you could receive
Salary plus commission/bonus, or
Hourly pay plus commission/bonus, or
Hourly pay, or
Paid time off (vacation and personal/sick days)
Requirements
Interest in marketing products and services based on customer needs, excellent interpersonal skills, excellent communication skills - written, verbal and listening, enthusiastic about the role insurance and financial products play in helping people manage the risks of everyday life, recover from the unexpected, and realize their dreams, people-oriented, ability to work in a team environment, ability to obtain State Insurance Licenses (if desired).
