Knife River is seeking a dedicated loader operator/ground person for our Klamath Falls Oregon operation. Note: This is a reposting. Responsibilities include, but are not limited to the following:

- Operate loader to feed aggregate to the ready mix plant and into customer’s trailers and trucks.

- Stockpile incoming material and monitor stockpile volumes.

- Assist in the maintenance and housekeeping, assuring concrete slab areas are clean.

- Help pull concrete block forms apart and put back together correctly.

- Help customers with rebar and retail supply orders if and when needed.

- Assure all safety policies and procedures are followed to prevent any and all unsafe actions, processes and behaviors.

- Other duties assigned as needed. Minimum Qualifications:

- Experienced in the safe and efficient operation of a loader.

- Ability to communicate effectively while maintaining positive interactions with others.

- Must be highly motivated and a self-starter with the drive to expand job knowledge and skills.

- Ability to work flexible shifts, including weekends and overtime if needed.

- Display a professional and courteous attitude towards all team members. Additional Information:

Knife River offers a competitive benefit package which includes medical, dental, vision and life insurance, 401(k) plan, profit sharing, 8 paid holidays and paid vacation. Upon job offer, must be able to pass a criminal background check, drug screen (includes marijuana and CBD), physical and functional capacities testing. Wage is $20.00 per hour. This is a full time position but subject to seasonal layoff due to weather.
