Position Open for Automotive Service Writer. We strive for excellence and customer satisfaction by performing quality repairs with quality parts and by keeping close customer communications on what service and repairs are needed and why.
Three to five years current knowledge & experience in an automotive repair shop is needed. This position requires a friendly, outgoing and energetic personality that can manage to take care of a customer and coordinate the care of their vehicle from start to finish. It is a must to have good computer and writing skills and the ability to properly fill out workorders and have parts available for technicians to complete vehicle repairs needed.
Our SERVICE WRITER position is responsible for greeting customers, answering phones, communicating needed repairs & maintenance to customers in a way they will understand repair work needed, ordering parts, coordinating work with technicians and all other usual duties for a service writer. Skills include:
Excellent customer service skills
Automotive mechanical & parts knowledge
Be able to multitask
Be able to work as a team member
Mitchell Manager experience is a BIG plus
Typing skills
MUST have recent experience working in an automotive repair shop.
Our Hours are Monday - Friday, 7:30 to 5:30. Benefits provided. Health insurance, Vacation & Holiday Pay. Must be able to pass drug screen test & have valid driver's license. We are a No Smoking business.
