Quality Control Technician

Knife River has an immediate opening for a Quality Control Technician in Klamath Falls!

Responsibilities include, but are not limited to the following:

- Sample and test aggregate and concrete in accordance with specifications and standards

- Assure all safety policies and procedures are followed to prevent any and all unsafe actions, processes and behaviors observed

- Other duties assigned as needed

Minimum Qualifications:

- Quality Control experience and current agg certifications required.

- Good math, record keeping and problem-solving ability

- Computer spreadsheet experience preferred

- Engineering and statistics background helpful, but not necessary

- Ability to study, take and pass QC certification exams with adequate time and training provided

- Must be able to lift material samples of 75 lbs. approx. 10 to 15 times per day and on occasion more depending on duties required

- Ability to work overtime; nights/weekends

- Occasional travel throughout Southern and Central Oregon, some may require overnight stays.

- Strong communication skills and positive interactions with a variety of customers required

- Ability to pass a pre-employment criminal background check, physical/functional exam and drug screen

- Display a professional and courteous attitude towards all team members and customers
