You will play a crucial role in maintaining our customer support of internal and external customers.Join us in this exciting opportunity to play a key role in helping us be efficient and helpful of our customer!Duties and ResponsibilitiesTo perform this job successfully an individual must be able to perform the following essential duties satisfactorily. Other duties may be assigned to address business needs and changing business practices.
Assist the Sr. Manager, Car Hire Accounting, in car hire related data analysis and functions as it relates to completion of work and meeting industry, internal and customer deadlines
Analyze data to provide weekly and monthly forecasting, reconciliations, revenue, and other reporting to clients related to Car Hire
Share the responsibility for the monthly close cycle and reporting events, including internal reporting and external customer interaction
Provide regular and ad-hoc reporting to other internal departments to support business decisions
Assist in the setup of new and existing clients
Collaborate with other Greenbrier teams to improve customer satisfaction
Collaborate with technical teams and participate in projects for system enhancements
Collaborate with others on the team for annual and long-term projects
Respond to external and internal requests in timely and professional manner
Maintain client relationships through exceptional customer service
Ensure all processes are followed and documented in compliance with audit guidelines
QualificationsThe following generally describes requirements to successfully perform the assigned duties.Minimum Qualifications
1-2 years’ work experience in a role including analysis of business processes and reconciliation of financial information
Technical business analyst background
In depth knowledge of the Code of Car Hire Rules and their use and interpretation within the industry
Professional maturity in delivering difficult messages in a professional and empathetic manner
The ability to work proficiently in Microsoft Office, including Excel and Access, and enterprise level systems
Must have a strong work ethic, with demonstrated analytical and organizational skills
Need to have the ability to show initiative and quickly adapt to rapid change in a professional and positive manner
Must be able to complete special projects and analysis as required
Excellent verbal and written communication skills to internal and external parties
Must be able to handle multiple tasks simultaneously with limited direction
Able to prioritize workload and meet deadlines
Preferred Qualifications
Bilingual English / Spanish desired
Bachelor Degree preferred
Proficient in MS Office, high proficiency in Excel and experience in MS Access preferred
Preference with experience in the following order:
Experience working in a railroad or vendor Car Hire department;
Experience working in the railroad industry; and
Experience working in a transportation-related industry.
