The Village Baker of Ashland is looking for a friendly, responsible person to work our booth at the Crescent City Farmer's Market on Saturdays this summer starting the first week of June.
Please do not apply unless you are:
- friendly and good at sales
- VERY reliable
- don't get sick often
- can do some lifting
- are able to work EVERY Saturday this summer, with exceptions planned WELL in advance. Last minute call-ins cannot be covered, which misses sales and hurts the business.
A valid driver's license is required, WE PROVIDE VAN AND GAS. Your job would be to safely drive to the market, sell all our bread, and drive back (enjoying the beautiful Oregon scenery of course). You must be able to show up for work at 5:00am. The day lasts about 12 hours. Perfect part-time work for someone who can set aside a whole day.
Working the markets is fun for many peopleyou meet nice folks, listen to the local musicians, work independently, and get to sell delicious and unique sourdough bread.
