Wandering Roots Farm is looking for someone to take the lead role in the two Farmer's Markets we do. We do Ashland Tuesday and Medford Thursday markets. This individual must show up at the farm in Gold Hill, Or at 5:30 am to load the truck up. Drive to either Ashland or Medford market, and set up there for the day. Then load up the truck after market is over and bring everything back to the farm in Gold Hill. Days are 10+hours. This is a very demanding position. You will be moving a full box truck of produce into the truck and out. Setting up a huge fruit and vegetable display. Then moving everything back to farm again.
We are looking for someone with a lot of positive energy, physically capable of moving lots of heavy crates/tubs around, with good customer service skills. Ideal position will be Monday harvesting on our farm in Gold Hill, Tuesday Ashland Market and Thursday Medford Market. So I am looking for someone to work 3 days per week all 10+hour days. So 3 day position is easily 30hrs/week. If more work is desired, that is a possibility.
Pay will be $18-$20/hr plus market bonus depending on our sales.
