Just 17 miles outside of Ashland on Highway 66, our unique resort features cozy lodge rooms, spacious cabins, a delightful restaurant, and serene outdoor stages and event spaces. Green Springs Inn currently consists of 9 cabins, 8 lodges rooms, one yurt used as an indoor event space (the Forest Room), several outdoor event spaces, and our restaurant. We plan to grow our team and facilities with the goal of being the premier nature-immersive resort in Southern Oregon.

EXPERIENCE NATURE DAILY AT GREEN SPRINGS INN

This is an opportunity for a Hotel Housekeeping Manager to join a close-knit team dedicated to creating an outstanding guest experience. Offering a competitive wage of $40,000 to $47,000, based on experience, we also provide benefits including paid time off, direct deposit, discounted meals, and discounted stays for friends and family.

The approximate schedule for this position is Thursday to Monday from 9am to 5pm.

A DAY IN THE LIFE OF A HOTEL HOUSEKEEPING MANAGER AT GREEN SPRINGS INN

The Housekeeping Manager is pivotal in leading our housekeeping operations, fostering a team that excels in providing exceptional service. You will be instrumental in ensuring our guests' stay is as serene and comfortable as possible, reflecting our core values of teamwork, incredible guest experiences, and strong financial results. Your role involves:

- Ensuring the highest standards of cleanliness across all areas of the Inn, from our cabins and lodge rooms to the event spaces. This includes daily cleaning and laundry operations.

- Overseeing the housekeeping team, mentoring, and leading by example to promote a culture of excellence and professional growth.

- Create documentation through SOPs; train and implement with a focus on continuous improvement.

- Work closely with management, maintenance, restaurant, and front desk teams to communicate and coordinate the day, including guest needs as they arise.

- Managing inventory of linen, cleaning supplies, and guest amenities to ensure availability and sustainability.

Conducting inspections, assigning deep cleaning projects, and maintaining continuous improvement in our cleanliness standards.

- Handling guest interactions with the utmost professionalism and care.

QUALIFICATIONS FOR A HOUSEKEEPING MANAGER AT GREEN SPRINGS INN

- Preferably holding a high school degree or GED.

- Two to three years of experience in a leadership role within housekeeping, in a hospitality setting that prides itself on service excellence.

- Proficient in reading, writing, and basic math, with strong communication skills.

- Familiarity with Property Management Systems, Google Suite, and competent in computer use.

- Ability to manage a significant workload in a dynamic environment with minimal oversight.

- Exceptional attention to detail, decision-making skills, and professional interaction with team members and guests.

- Flexible availability, including weekends and holidays, to meet the resort's operational needs.

- Commitment to a drug-free workplace policy.

PHYSICAL REQUIREMENTS (as required by OSHA and ADA)

- Must be able to spend 100% of working time standing, walking and reaching.

- Maintaining body equilibrium to prevent falling while walking, standing or crouching in narrow, slippery or erratically moving surfaces.

- Climbing and ascending or descending ladders, stairs and ramps (our cabins have ladder lofts that must be accessed daily).

- Must be able to carry loads greater than 20 pounds and exert up to 40 pounds of force occasionally, and/or up to 30 pounds of force frequently.

- Hearing sounds at normal speaking levels with or without correction.

- Specific vision abilities include close, distance, color, peripheral, depth perception and the ability to adjust focus.
