Buttercloud Bakery & Cafe is seeking an experienced, talented, creative and organized baker to join our fun and tight-knit team. We are a small, locally-owned company with an emphasis on from-scratch cooking and locally-sourced ingredients.
We are looking for highly motivated and energetic self-starters interested in cross training in the bakery.
Job description:
The "Sweets Baker" makes, cakes, pastries, pies, sweets (lemon bars & Brownies) and open to test new product recipes.
The "AM Baker" operates a dough sheeter, mixers, ovens, makes doughs and batters and bakes off several products ie: Biscuits, muffins, sticky buns, cookies, corn bread, scones.
The selected candidate will be cross trained on both of these positions, starting on part time. Shifts can be anywhere from 5-8 hour shifts.
Bakery skills such as cake baking and decorating are a must.
Candidates must be self-driven independent, extremely reliable, keep a clean work area, and enjoy beginning work anywhere from 4-7 AM.
Job Type: Part-time
Salary: $16.00 per hour + Tip pool
Expected hours: 16 – 28 per week
