We are seeking an enthusiastic and personable Tasting Room Host to join our team. The ideal candidate will have a passion for customer service and a deep appreciation for fine wines. As a Tasting Room Host, you will be responsible for providing an exceptional tasting experience for visitors and assisting in events both on-site and off-site.
Key Responsibilities
Engage Guests: Welcome and engage guests with a warm and friendly demeanor.
Conduct Tastings: Guide guests through tasting experiences, explaining flavor profiles, history, and the winemaking process.
Sales Support: Assist in the sales of wine/spirits and merchandise.
Maintain Ambiance: Ensure that the tasting room is clean and well-organized.
Event Support: Participate in on-site events and off-site sampling opportunities.
Requirements
Experience: Previous experience in customer service, hospitality, or related fields is preferred.
Availability: Must be available to work weekends and attend events.
Team Player: Strong team spirit and willingness to collaborate with fellow staff.
Communication: Excellent verbal communication skills.
Passion: A genuine interest and knowledge in wine/spirits is a plus.
Additional Requirements
Must be of legal age to serve alcohol.
Must have OLCC and Food handlers card.
Ability to stand for extended periods and lift up to 40 pounds.
