We at A First Choice Service and Medical Registry is looking for experienced CCMA, MA or SCRIBE applicants for several medical practices in the Rogue Valley. If you are looking for a career as a medical assistant, credentialed certified medical assistant, or scribe and you have the skills and experience we have several general and specialty practices that are needing someone temp-to-hire to join their practice and become the long term employee they are looking for.
We have several specialty practices along with family and general practices that work with us finding the employees who are looking for a long term full time or part time position.
Duties will include:
Rooming patients, taking vitals, setting up rooms and preparing for exams or procedures, cleaning and stocking of patient rooms, patient call backs, prescription refills, referrals, authorizations, assisting physician or provider with exams or procedures, injections, immunizations, clean and sterilize, obtain lab/radiology reports, respond to patient requests, document any changes in patient medication, patient intake, data entry into the computer of patient information, alert provider of any perceived problems, maintain confidentiality of patient information, must use universal precautions when dealing with needles or body fluids, and must be computer literate, with some EMR experience. Scribe experience is desired but not required.
We would like someone who does have previous on the job medical assistant, credentialed certified medical assistant, scribe experience. Must be detailed, organized, strong communication skills, able to handle multiple tasks, work at a fast pace with constant interruptions, maintain patient confidentiality, professional, excellent customer service, and must be a team player.
Requirements:
High school diploma or GED, Must be able to pass criminal background checks, drug screen, and reference checks and some previous experience with MA, CCMA, or SCRIBE.
