Rogue Dental is seeking a skilled EFDA Dental Assistant to join our established and reputable dental practice. We are a small office with a cooperative and cohesive team, offering a fantastic Monday-Thursday work schedule. Our work-week ends at 3:30 on Thursday! We do not overwork our team and you will always receive your midday break. You will be appreciated and rewarded with the potential for a weekly bonus!

The ideal candidate should have the experience necessary to assist with a wide range of general dentistry procedures. We are seeking a team player who is compassionate, reliable and self-motivated.
Duties:
· Assist the dentist during a variety of procedures
· Sterilize instruments and clean rooms, adhering to infection control policies
· Prepare patients for treatment and ensure their comfort
· Take high quality, diagnostic X-rays and intraoral photos
· Maintain accurate patient records and documentation
· Provide patients with instructions following dental treatment
· Educate patients on appropriate oral hygiene strategies
· Present recommended treatment to patients
· Answer phones and schedule appointments on occasion
Requirements:
· Previous experience working in a dental office setting
· Proficiency in X-Ray procedures and medical documentation
· Knowledge of HIPAA regulations and infection control protocols
· Ability to assist with general dentistry procedures
· Experience with Dentrix software is a plus
· Valid BLS Certification (or ability to obtain within 30 days of hire)
