We are needing a few experienced medical billing specialist for large company in Medford. This is a full time position Monday-Friday 8-5 and pay is DOE.
Needing someone who has previous on the job medical billing experience and skills, review accounts for insurance and patient issues, perform various collection actions including contacting insurance companies and patients, correction and resubmitting claims to 3rd party payers etc., follow up on unpaid claims within standard billing cycle, checking insurance companies regarding any discrepancy in payments if necessary, identify and bill secondary insurances, assist with entry of patient payments, medical billing, EOB's, experience with medicare, excellent with phones and computers, good written communication, detailed, basic knowledge of ICD-9. ICD-10, and CPT/HCPS coding procedures, ability to analyze and solve more complex problems that may require research and creative solutions and make sound decisions with limited supervision, and ability to multi-task at a fast pace.
Must have experience with A/R within a medical billing environment.
You MUST live in this area to be considered for this position and we are NOT looking for anyone who has a billing service we need candidates that can work ONLY on site with these medical offices.
Must be able to pass criminal background checks, drug screen, and reference checks.
