About Us:
We are a family seeking a compassionate and reliable caregiver to provide support and assistance for our parents in their home. Our parents are recovering from medical procedures and require assistance with daily activities to ensure their comfort and well-being. We are offering a temporary live-in arrangement with accommodation provided in our home.
Our parents are both extremely talented musicians. My mother is a painter and my father has worked as a licensed family therapist for over 40 years. They are wonderful, funny, kind people so it's important we find the right fit.
Responsibilities:
Assist with light meal preparation and ensure they are getting enough to eat.
Provide transportation for medical appointments and other outings as needed.
Aid in transferring and mobility assistance for our mom, including assistance with her brace.
Assist with medication management and ensure medications are taken on time.
Perform light housekeeping duties to maintain a clean and organized living environment.
Requirements:
Prior experience in caregiving or a related field preferred.
Compassionate and patient demeanor with a genuine desire to help others.
Reliable transportation for errands and appointments.
Ability to follow instructions and work independently.
Excellent communication skills and the ability to interact effectively with older individuals.
Flexibility to adapt to changing schedules and care needs.
Benefits:

Compensation of $3,500 per month in addition to a lovely room with full access to the kitchen and a beautiful yard/home.
