AllCare Health is seeking a Utilization Management (UM) Analyst I who thrives in a team environment and has the ability to provide exceptional service and skills.
AllCare Health is a southern Oregon-based health organization, led by local physicians since 1994. In a progressive model of care, we combine medical, dental, and behavioral health services to provide Medicare, and Medicaid insurance coverage to our members. We also provide support to our providers through AllCare Independent Physician Association and AllCare e-Health Services
The Utilization Management (UM) Analyst I position is responsible for supporting the Utilization Management department by providing clerical and project based work by performing the following duties.
Qualifications:
High school diploma or general education degree (GED); or one year related experience and/or training in a medical or pharmacy setting; or equivalent combination of education and experience.
Medical terminology and medical office experience is preferred.
Essential Duties:
Performs routine monitoring of the daily processes, such as daily compliance report, denial letter hot keys, written notification templates to ensure accuracy and compliance with government rules.
Provides monthly analysis of authorization reopen determinations.
Reviews HIPAA monitoring report from eHealth regarding UM Greenway site access and reports to compliance department.
Performs general clerical duties to include creating and modifying documents using Microsoft office applications, photocopying, scanning, mailing and faxing.
