Grounds Keeper | Assistant Maintenance– Starting at $16 and Up DOE
We are currently growing and would like to add an exceptional new member to Grounds Keeping | Assistant Maintenance crew here in Ashland.
Who we are: Two historic boutique hotels located just off of the theaters & near campus. Our main goal is to offer theater goers, and travelers alike, a wonderful escape to rejuvenate and replenish while enjoying all that Ashland has to offer. We are a family organization who prides ourselves in offering the most welcoming environment with the most peaceful rooms to lay their head in one of our total of 40 rooms.
Who you are: You have grounds keeping & maintenance experience in a fast paced hotel, public park or commercial environment and pay great attention to detail. You enjoy working both inside and outdoors maintaining beautiful gardens. You pride yourself in a job well done, in a timely manner, and are happy when you exceed expectations. You can lift up to 50 lbs. without difficulty while getting your steps in each day. Some technology is a plus, as-well-as a truck & hand tools for occasional repairs.
Being a groundkeeper | assistant in maintenance means you command every aspect of the workings on the entire properties. Though no two days are alike, here is a bit of what that looks like:
Mowing, blowing, weeding & edging
Misc. gardening
Adjusting sprinkler heads
Pool cleaning
Window washing
Basic maintenance services
Occasional plumbing repairs
Compensation: Previous experience and pay scale will be considered for the best new team member. Extras include Matching 401k, potential for bonuses and paid time off.
