EAST FORK CULTIVARS IS HIRING
About the job:
The seasonal harvest position will run from Monday, September 23rd - Oct 18th, with the possibility of continued work through Nov 1. There may be additional hours available before/after these dates.
A typical week consists of five 8-hour shifts, 8am-5pm M-F, with two paid 10 minute breaks and one unpaid hour long lunch. Weekend shifts may be available. Pay is $20/hour.
Housing can potentially be provided on a case-by-case basis for people coming from out of the area.
Harvest season generally proves to be a high-paced and high-energy time at the farm. It is a very physical job, requiring repetitive bending, stretching, lifting, walking, etc. in all weather conditions. The work requires a high degree of stamina, mental flexibility, and the ability to collaborate with a team. We try our best to do these tasks with a positive attitude, fostering an environment that allows us to have fun together as we work to bring the year’s harvest in.
