Ahimsa Gardens is an environmentally-friendly full-service landscaping company serving residential and commercial clients in Ashland and the Rogue Valley. We design climate-wise landscapes, utilizing many native plants to support native insect and bird species. We follow permaculture ethics, designing food forest gardens for clients interested in growing food. We design and install irrigation systems, fences, patios and pathways, and more. We help our clients find water-wise, fire-safe solutions for their landscaping needs while creating inspiring outdoor spaces for humans to gather, and native wildlife to thrive.
Ahimsa Gardens is looking for an irrigation specialist to join our team.
Key Responsibilities:
Installing new irrigation systems both in ground and drip.
Accurately recording time and materials used at jobsites.
Assessment and repair of existing sprinkler and drip systems.
Maintaining irrigation schedules and managing water output.
Conduct oneself in a professional manner when explaining to client's how their irrigation systems work.
Accurately read and execute an irrigation design.
Remain flexible during the workday and offer assistance to other teams including maintenance and installation.
Keep an organized and tidy workspace in the field.
Problem solve complex irrigation systems.
Qualifications:
General knowledge of landscaping
Irrigation knowledge is plus but we are willing the train the right candidate.
Strong organization and time management
Valid driver's license with a clean record
Excellent customer service and communication skills
Must be detail oriented and have a willingness to learn
Required to physically stand, bend, squat and lift up to 50lbs for long periods of time.
Full time preferred but part time may be offered to the right candidate. Monday through Friday, start time will change based on season/daylight.
Pay depends on experience.
