Should have experience with plant identification, and knowledge in keeping plants healthy. Horticultural knowledge and plant identification of Northwest annuals, perennials, trees, shrubs, and ground covers a plus. Irrigation knowledge a plus.
REQUIREMENTS:
Landscape maintenance experience - 2 yrs minimum.
A team attitude and being able to take direction are a must
Experience in running equipment: mowers, blowers, hedge trimmer, weed eater, etc.
Must have a valid driver's license.
Must be able to pass a drug test and a criminal background check.
Strong communication skills. Able to communicate effectively with other team members and occasionally, customers. The ability to speak Spanish is a plus.
JOB DUTIES:
Must be physically fit and able to endure outside environmental conditions.
Maneuver up to 50 pounds
Maintaining Residential and commercial landscapes: mowing, blowing, pruning, shearing, etc.
Organized, professional and personable. Clean-cut appearance.
DAYS AND HOURS:
Year-round employment
Typical hours of operation: Mon -- Thurs 7am-5:30 pm. Exact schedule to be arranged with employer.
