We are looking for an extremely punctual and reliable individual, with a positive attitude towards work, does not cut corners, and pays attention to details. Must be able to take direction well to work cooperatively in a team and independently. Minimum 1 year previous OLCC cannabis farm experience required. Must have reliable transportation and an ACTIVE OLCC Marijuana Workers Permit. Ability to lift 30# consistently required. Experience/skills with farm equipment, irrigation, electrical, minor construction are a plus. Must be able to drive manual stick-shift vehicle.
Work is general outdoor cannabis farm labor, mainly spraying for insects and foliar feeding, and pulling tarps on 150 PVC hoops daily for a few months of the season. Other work includes training plants, topping/bottoming, watering, weeding, weed-whacking, installing shade/rain covers and PVC hoops. Also harvesting and nursery care, cloning and planting.
Full-time position. We are currently working a regular 8-hr day shift, but for a few months of the season we will change to a split shift (4 hours in morning and 4 hours in late evening), with weekend availability required. Split shift may need to be a full time night shift. Applicant MUST be able to meet our shift schedule needs. Position will be full-time throughout the year.
Starting pay is $18/hr. Performance will be evaluated after 6 months for additional pay increases.
