Rafting and Adventure Travel Company looking for :
Warehouse Manager/Operations Assistant
40+ hours: March 15th – Sept 15th.
starting $18 to $22 and hour depending on qualifications
Matching 401k after 30 days
(opportunity for the job to turn into a full-time year around salaried position after first season)
The job includes:
- Warehouse Organization and cleaning
- Gear Repair
- Vehicle cleaning and maintenance and maintenance scheduling (working with mechanics and operations)
- Working with operations to:
o Assist guides (unpacking and packing trips)
o Move gear around our locations
o Deal with emergencies and last minute logistical challenges (ex: going to eastern Oregon to help with a broken trailer). This will include a few ‘on call’ days a week.
Applicants should be:
- Very organized and particular - Someone who enjoys to cleaning and organizing and needs things to be in order.
- Handy (there are lots of varied repair jobs – gear, vehicle, light carpentry)
- Have a basic knowledge of vehicles and trailers.
- Have a clean driving record
- Must be able to work weekends in the spring and summer (days off will be weekdays)
- Must also be able to work one or two evenings (with mornings off) – usually Saturday evening until about 8:30pm
