Establish and maintain effective therapeutic relationships with youth that have severe emotional and behavioral issues as an on-call relief status for our Residential and/or Day Treatment Programs. This position can either provide on-call/relief for our Residential program in Medford or at our Day Treatment program in Grants Pass. There is also an option to be trained for both programs and be relief for both.
Essential Duties and Responsibilities
Assist other direct care counselors to support youth and ensure proper procedures and policies are followed.
Communicate treatment information to residential and/or day treatment clinical staff as necessary.
Transport children as arranged and assigned.
Maintain clinical records as prescribed by the Agency.
Demonstrate skills in non-violent crisis intervention and physical restraint as necessary.
Complete daily progress notes, attendance, incident reports, behavioral logs, participation logs, and other clinical documentation
Maintain high ethical standards regarding service and client confidentiality.
Establish and maintain productive working relationships with all team members.
Observe all agency policies and procedures.
Participate in a meaningful fashion in assigned individual and group supervision, training, and all other assigned agency meetings.
