Duties and responsibilities
· Interact with customers and understand their vehicle needs.
· Give suggestions and recommendations to customers regarding their vehicle repair.
· Estimate the cost and the time for the repair work to be completed.
· Coordinate work processes with the technicians and other departments within the company.
· Ensure parts are ordered for repairs and onsite for scheduled appointments.
· Keep up with market trends, prices, and competitor strategies.
· Negotiate with insurance companies.
· Follow automobile industry safety protocols and standards.
· Answer incoming phone calls and customer inquiries.
· Other job duties as assigned
Qualifications
· 2 years auto collision repair estimating experience.
· Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
· Ability to effectively manage time, meet deadlines, and complete all assigned tasks.
· Team player who is focused on providing great customer service.
· Detail oriented.
· Well versed in computers.
· Pass a drug screen.
· Good driving record with driver’s license.
