Front Desk Assistant (Part-Time) – Naturopathic Medical Practice
We are seeking a reliable, experienced Front Desk Assistant to join our patient-centered naturopathic primary care practice in Grants Pass. This is a part-time, 1099 contractor position starting at 10–15 hours per week, with the potential for growth.
Our clinic provides integrative primary care with an emphasis on adjunctive support for complex conditions such as Lyme disease, mold illness, chronic fatigue, and mental health concerns. We maintain a calm, supportive, and non-acute environment, where patients are seen by appointment only and emergencies are rare.
Role Responsibilities:
Managing patient scheduling and appointment confirmations
Performing general administrative tasks (email correspondence, record handling, follow-up)
Checking and verifying insurance eligibility prior to appointments
Providing warm, grounded, and professional customer service
Supporting smooth, timely communication between patients and provider
Maintaining confidentiality and professionalism at all times
Ideal Candidate:
1+ years front desk or administrative experience, ideally in a healthcare or wellness setting
Familiarity or alignment with naturopathic medicine or holistic healthcare approaches
Experience with insurance verification and patient intake procedures
Strong communication and organizational skills
Tech-savvy (comfortable with EHR systems, Google Workspace, etc.)
Able to work independently, stay calm, and manage details in a patient-focused environment
Willing and able to work on-site at our clinic 2–3 times per week to fulfill hours
Compensation:
Sliding scale of $18–$22/hour, based on experience and skill set
1099 contractor position — flexible scheduling with personal accountability
