Have you ever wanted a career in Pet Grooming well here's your opportunity! Nature's Pet Market Grooming of Medford has an opening for a Bather-Brusher/Grooming Apprentice!
Our current Grooming Apprentice is advancing so we have an opening for an exciting career opportunity. This position has the potential of teaching you the art of grooming while working as a Bather-Brusher with our Grooming staff. This is a 2-year apprenticeship program. During this time you will learn from our Master Groomers all the techniques necessary to become a talented, compassionate, and successful Pet Groomer.
WE REQUIRE THE FOLLOWING:
Previous bather-brusher experience helpful, but not necessary.
Previous work with animals helpful, but not necessary.
Excellent references.
Excellent work history.
Excellent Customer Service skills.
Team Player.
Self Starter.
Punctual.
Flexible.
Positive & Friendly.
Good attention to detail.
Desire to learn and succeed.
Ability to lift up to 50 pounds or more of wiggling animals with no fear!
Ability to stand for long periods of time because you will!
Ability to stay calm in stressful situations sometimes animals get rowdy
