Position Overview
As a Technical Support Representative, you’ll be the first point of contact for our customers when they need help with their Falcon Northwest systems. You’ll provide expert guidance over the phone, troubleshoot hardware and software issues, and ensure our customers receive the top-tier support they expect from Falcon Northwest. This is not a remote position; you will be working onsite at our Medford, OR location.
Key Responsibilities
- Respond to customer inquiries primarily via phone and email, providing professional and efficient assistance
- Diagnose, troubleshoot, and resolve hardware and software issues on custom-built PCs
- Document support interactions and maintain accurate customer records
- Communicate technical information clearly to both technical and non-technical users
- Collaborate with colleagues to ensure swift resolution of customer concerns
- Stay up-to-date on industry trends and emerging technologies to continually improve support skills
Qualifications
- Prior experience providing technical support over the phone (1+ years preferred)
- Strong understanding of PC hardware, components, and operating systems
- Familiarity with troubleshooting common desktop and gaming hardware/software issues
- Excellent communication skills, both written and verbal
- Ability to work on-site in Medford, OR; this is not a remote position
- A team player with a proactive attitude and excellent problem-solving skills
- Passion for computers and technology—hobbyists, gamers, and PC enthusiasts are encouraged to apply
