Outboard motor installations
Mechanical/electrical diagnosis and repair along with the installation of electronics and accessories on new boats.
Provide services and repairs on outboard and inboard motor in shop.
Adjust, repair, or replace mechanical and electrical system parts.
Test and adjust repaired equipment for optimal performance
Perform all routine maintenance and service.
Inspect and test engines to diagnose and isolate any issues.
Review work orders and communicate needed parts w/parts manager and supervisor.
SKILLS NEEDED:
Certified Marine Technician preferred or a minimum of 5 years of relevant experience.
Knowledge of marine engines and electrical auxiliary systems
Knowledge of boat steering systems
Excellent organizational skills and the ability to multi-task
Attention to detail and your own time management
Work effectively independently and as part of a team
Physically able to lift heavy equipment, walk, bend, kneel and stand for extended periods of time
