We are looking to hire a service writer to expand our team. Our business has been open in Phoenix for over a decade serving the import vehicle owners of Southern Oregon. We pride ourselves on providing the highest level of quality and honesty in the automotive service industry.
As a service writer you will:
Answer phone calls / interact with customers in person
Operate a credit card machine / cash till
Schedule repairs using an online calendar
Work with a shop management system to coordinate parts, repairs and time estimate
Interact with mechanics / gather information about related repairs
What we are looking for:
Experience is helpful, but not completely necessary. Ability to manage time / operate a schedule is valuable. General automotive mechanical knowledge is preferred. Customer service experience is a plus. Willingness to learn is very important. Knowledge of Asian, British, German and Italian vehicles will be beneficial. Typing, computer and phone skills are necessary.
