Description:Order Entry Pharmacy Technician Accurately and efficiently enter new or refill orders. Audits input versus documentation and makes corrections as needed. High level of data entry/order entry within pharmacy software - Framework LTC & Framework ECM. Communicate with staff of LTC residential facilities. Performs basic drug calculations including basic mathematical calculations (e.g., converting milligrams). Handle incoming fax and telephone communication. Deliver outstanding customer service and patient care. Properly handle order exceptions such as refill to soon, invalid orders, etc. Resolve common pharmacy problems quickly and efficiently. If candidate is not a current pharm tech, must be willing to get Oregon Pharm Tech License prior to hire. 6+ months of high-volume order entry and/or data entry experience - preferred for this experience to be within a Pharmacy, but not required. Excellent data entry & typing skills/experience (typing test required for sub). High level of attention to detail and prioritization skills. Strong work ethic with drive/motivation to hit performance metrics/numbers. Ability to learn new systems and processes relatively quickly and easily - proven history of this. General basic math skills - able to calculate daily supply calculations. Ability to review, interpret and easily implement/carry out SOPs. Ability to work independently and within a team environment. Effective oral and written communication. Proven history of reliability and positive attendance.
