Job DescriptionLocations:Oregon City, Oregon (97045)Milwaukie, OR (97222)

Stocks, preps and cleans exam rooms in between visits, cleans and sterilizes instruments and equipment, and sets up appropriate equipment according to visit type.

Assists patients with completion of forms (release of information, etc.).

Documents in the medical record all patient activity and contact.

Obtains prior authorizations as required.

Transmits new and refill prescription orders.

Inputs correct historical labs to maintain up to date lab results data on patients.

Conducts patient follow-up, including referral paperwork and assisting patients in scheduling additional medical tests or appointments.

Provides patient with after-visit summary, verbally reviews the information, and ensures all questions are answered and next steps in care are understood.

Communicates lab results as directed by the provider either by letter or by phone.

Communicates expected wait times to patients, providers and front office staff

Assists in new employee training on specific tasks, as needed.

Participates in team huddles to review the schedule at the start of the clinic day.

Participates in process and quality improvement workflows.

Follows standard work

Performs other duties as assigned.
