REQUIREMENTS:
Highly Motivated Person/Self starter
Experience in a lumberyard setting preferred
Past supervisory experience preferred
Proficient in QuickBooks preferred
Daily Sales
Accounts Payable & Account Receivables
All aspects of Operation of business through QuickBooks
Highschool Diploma/GED
Valid drivers license with clean driving record
Great customer service skills
High level of attention to detail
Ability to communicate both verbally and written
JOB DUTIES:
Back up yard and/or delivery driver positions as needed
Implement and enforce safety protocols and procedures to minimize risks and ensure compliance with regulatory standards
Coordinate the scheduling, loading, and unloading of materials and products to optimize workflow and meet delivery timelines.
Manage inventory control, conducting regular checks to ensure accuracy and prevent loss or damage to goods and equipment.
Liaise with suppliers and transportation companies to negotiate contracts and resolve any issues related to the delivery or condition of goods
Develop and maintain a maintenance schedule for all yard equipment and vehicles, ensuring they are in good working condition and available when needed.
Handle customer inquiries and complaints related to yard operations, providing solutions that enhance customer satisfaction
Scheduling shifts
Ordering of products
Answering phone calls and greeting customers
Money handling
All other duties as assigned
Work hours: Monday-Saturday 8am-4:30-5:30
