The Best Western Plus Agate Beach Inn is looking for an enthusiastic team player in our Sales and Conference Planning department. Must possess the ability to multitask, be a self starter, work with little supervision, have excellent communication skills, problem solver and be computer literate.

Insures accuracy of group functions.

Effectively handle solicitations.

Directly solicits business in accordance with assigned goals.

Insures catering contracts meet hotel standards.

Maintains accurate sales files, production reports, weekly and daily banquet event orders, function sheets and trace system.

Must be knowledgeable of and follow through on all policies including space rental charges, comp rooms, meal guarantees, public space policy, room rates, and sales presentation procedures.

Attend and contribute to the hotel's revenue management meetings, and local networking groups.

Insures catering staff maintains current information regarding hotel services and marketing programs.

Orders linen required for functions and function room amenities.

Coordinates functions between Client, Chef, Banquet Manager and Set up department.

Attend pre and post convention meetings

Conducts function room site inspections.

A willingness to insure functions are planned well and to work closely with the banquet manager to go beyond guest expectations.
