Housekeepers wanted! $25-$35+ per hour
This is not a full time employment job. Cleaners are paid on a per clean bases
We are a local, short term, property management company, that manages properties you would find on Airbnb, HomeAway, VRBO, etc. We are looking for housekeepers with attention to detail and are reliable as we are growing fast! We hire individuals as independent contractors to perform housecleaning responsibilities.
The opportunity to grow and expand how much you do is up to you! We start housekeepers off with one property that they are in charge of. If all cleanings are performed to expectation, reviews and inspections are positive, and we have no complaints, we will continue to give you properties to grow to as much as you can handle.
Properties have anywhere from 1-3 cleanings per week depending on the time of year. Cleaning typically starts at 11:15am and depending on the size of the property takes 1-5 hours. Cleanings can happen on any day of the week and the cleaner would need to be available. Cleaners have access to an app that will show any cleanings for their property 10 days out and are also emailed a schedule daily for the upcoming week.
We pay a flat fee per property depending on the size. For example we may pay $150 for a 3 bedroom house as a flat fee. Because these houses are cleaned weekly (or multiple times per week) and are only lived in for a short period of time, they usually clean much faster than a typical house that is being lived in 100% of the time. We have multiple 3 bedroom houses that are typically cleaned in 5 hours ($30.00 per hour), if it was really dirty maybe 6 hours ($25 per hour), or if it was really fast and you were able to clean it in 4 hours ($37.50 per hour), no matter how long it takes you, we pay the same flat rate.
Cleaners are expected to:
Have all their own cleaning supplies
Provide and restock 3 rolls of toilet paper for each bathroom, 2 rolls of paper towels, sponge, hand soap, dishwashing pods (4), Laundry detergent pods (4), shampoo, conditioner, and body wash.
Job Duties would include:
Vacuuming floors and furnishings
Sweeping, Mopping or swiffering hard floor surfaces
Cleaning, dusting, wiping down all surfaces and furniture
Cleaning, disinfecting, sanitizing all kitchen and bathroom areas including cabinets, toilets, sinks, appliances and bathing areas
Doing dishes / Emptying dishwasher
Emptying and sanitizing all waste baskets
Stripping all linens off beds, towels from bathroom, and laundering back to like new
Making all beds, resetting towels, restocking amenities (dish soap, hand soap, laundry detergent, shampoo/conditioner, etc.)
Check for marks on walls and clean as necessary
Exterior sweeping and cleaning of outdoor furnishings.
Testing Hot Tub Chemicals and rebalancing if needed (training provided)
Report any damage, hazards, repairs as found immediately
Stage house so it is ready for incoming guests
Perform other duties as assigned
Must be able to lift/push/carry/pull 25 to 30 pounds.
Must have Cleaning Experience / Must provide references of previous clients
