We are currently seeking a Front Office Supervisor, this position besides checking guests in/out, making reservations is also over the Front Desk Staff and the Breakfast Attendants, works closely with housekeeping and maintenance supervisors.
*Scheduling Front Desk and BA's
*Oral and written write ups of staff
*Must know all three shifts
*Be able to work all three shifts
*Fills in if no one else is available to work, even if just completed a shift
*Must know front desk, frontwards, backwards, upside down and inside out
*Hires and trains all new front desk staff
*Works closely with the GM on all of the above and is that second pair of eyes
*Is on call 24/7/365 filters calls for the GM
*Must learn how to do payroll
Must be understanding and patient when dealing with staff and guests, must know we praise in public, criticize in private.
Experience managing staff helpful, hotel experience helpful, willing to train the right person.
