SCP seeks an experienced kitchen cook for our incredible Gleneden Beach, Oregon, lodge.

What You Will Tackle:
Our Kitchen rockstar will anticipate guests’ needs, respond promptly, and acknowledge all guests.
Prepare all cold and hot food with care and ensure all food meets food safety and quality standards.
Continuously promote sanitation, safety, and security efforts.

Learn and adapt the menu and help to answer guests' questions about our offerings.
Assisting with stocking and setting up the kitchen stations.
Visually inspect, select, and use only the freshest ingredients to prepare all menu items.
Ensure that dishes are prepared and cooked according to specific restaurant standards.
Plating prepared foods based on the senior chef's guidance.
Ensure proper receiving, storage, and rotation of food products to comply with health department regulations.
Working with servers to ensure that orders are completed according to request and on time.
Washing and cleaning the kitchen and cooking utensils and storing the equipment at the end of shifts.
Inspect, plan and ensure that all materials and equipment are in complete readiness for service.
Maintain knowledge of correct maintenance and use of equipment.
Maintain knowledge of and comply with all departmental policies, service procedures, and standards.
Adhere to relevant Food Safety Hygiene standards.
Remain current on current safety issues to ensure compliance with all health and safety regulations.
Work safely and abide by OSHA regulations and the Hotel’s policies regarding accident and incident reporting procedures.
The Essentials:
Must be a United States citizen or possess a valid work permit
Must be able to work in a fast-paced environment with urgency and empathy.

1+ Years of cooking or kitchen experience preferred
